Add-on Reverb Kit for Epiphone Valve Junior Amp
Note: This mod may not work properly with non-US (115v powered) amps!
This kit contains all the parts and instructions necessary to ADD reverb to an Epiphone Valve Junior head or combo.
"I will now proceed to entangle the entire area."
OK… I now this may be confusing but I have 2 reverb kits for the Epiphone Valve Junior amp.
I have been building prototypes for the last 2 years, several from scratch. 2 configurations have finally made it through the BitMo sausage grinder to be released as kits.
My criteria for an acceptable BitMo product –
· Must sound great
· Must offer good value for the money
· Must be easy enough to be built by actual guitar players (maybe even drummers ;^) without too much hand-holding from me (I have a day job.)
The following table compares the 2 kits.
Spring Reverb Unit | B-verb |
Converts an EVJ head into a stand-alone reverb unit | Adds reverb to an EVJ head or combo |
Requires the Unit to be plugged into another amp | The EVJ still works as an amp with added reverb |
Tube driven spring reverb tank | Tube driven digital reverb emulation chip |
Must start with a stock amp (or close to stock) | Plays well with other BitMo mods (Tweaky, Trio, etc.) or most other popular mods |
Thunders when kicked | No thunder - just 'verb |
Sounds great | Sounds great |
This is the BitMo B-verb kit. It adds reverb to an EVJ head or combo (Version 2 or 3). It does not use a spring tank. It uses a tube driven, patent-pending digital reverb emulation chip set. It works well with other BitMo mods (Tweaky, Trio, etc.) or most other popular mods. Tweakage instruction are included to help you integrate it with alien mods.
The BitMo B-verb provides classic wet reverb. It works well with clean surf, country or jazz tones, and even overdriven classic rock The new REVERB LEVEL knob controls the amount of reverb in the mix.
Sounds great! (IMHO)
(If you are interested in a true spring reverb unit conversion, please see my listings for the BitMo Spring Reverb Unit.)
Amp not included with the kit –
You must supply your own V2 or V3 EVJ head or combo.
Again: This mod may not work properly with non-US (115v powered) amps!

I would classify this as easy. It takes about 1-2 hours. I assume no responsibility for the quality of your work.
I’m sure you will love this project! It has been in development for a long time.
I welcome questions and suggestions and appreciate your feedback.
Note to international buyers: I will ship anywhere in the world but I am not responsible for customs delays or non-delivery problems - especially to Italy!
Thanks for looking,

I also really like how useful the control is. Unlike so many reverbs today that ramp up so fast and therefore become useless at anything above 2, this one actually lets a guy use ALL of the level parameter."
