Add-on Reverb Kit for VHT Special 6 Ultra
This kit contains all the parts and instructions necessary to ADD reverb to an Ultra head or combo.
This is the BitMo V-verb kit. It uses the tubes to drive and recover a patent-pending digital reverb emulation chip set.
The new REVERB LEVEL knob goes on the back of the chassis and controls the amount of reverb in the mix.
(The supplied knob will be black to match the ones on the amp. The white knob was used in the picture because it shows up better.)
The BitMo V-verb provides classic wet reverb.
It works well with clean surf, country or jazz tones, and even overdriven classic rock.
Sounds great! Very natureal and spring-like (IMHO).
(Note: V-verb is digital - it does not use a spring tank.)
Amp not included with the kit –
You must supply your own VHT Special 6 head or combo.
Tools you will need – drill and bits, screwdriver, soldering iron, solder, wire stripper, needle nosed pliers and electrical tape.
I would classify this as easy to moderate. It takes about 1-2 hours. I assume no responsibility for the quality of your work.
